Anti-ICE Protester ARRESTED After Attack On Journalist…

A Minnesota father who orchestrated a coordinated assault on a conservative journalist alongside his daughter now claims public backlash makes him question living in America.

Father-Daughter Attack Caught On Camera

Chris Ostroushko and his daughter Paige attacked Turning Point USA reporter Savanah Hernandez during an anti-ICE protest in Minneapolis on April 10. Video footage captured the pair planning their assault in advance, with Chris directing Paige to retrieve a whistle from their vehicle and blow it directly in Hernandez’s ear. The attack left Hernandez with a concussion. Federal authorities are investigating the incident, with Assistant Attorney General Harmeet K. Dhillon confirming the Department of Justice is reviewing the case.

Attackers Complain About Consequences

Chris Ostroushko released a video statement Monday claiming his family faces overwhelming backlash. He described hundreds of daily phone calls, text messages, and attempts to access social media accounts. The harassment extends beyond the immediate participants to include his sons and their wives, he said. Despite evidence showing premeditated assault, Ostroushko expressed disbelief at the response. He stated the consequences make him second-guess living in the United States. His daughter Paige, a University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point soccer player, reportedly bragged about avoiding arrest.

No Charges Filed Despite Federal Investigation

The Hennepin County District Attorney’s office has issued no statement regarding potential charges against the Ostroushko family. FBI and Department of Homeland Security investigations remain ongoing, but no arrests have occurred. The same prosecutor’s office charged an ICE agent with assault during the same operation. Hennepin County Attorney Mary Moriarty, known for her progressive approach to prosecution, faces criticism for the apparent double standard in charging decisions. The Ostroushko family remains free while federal investigators review video evidence of the coordinated attack.

Pattern Of Selective Enforcement

The case highlights concerns about unequal application of law based on political affiliation. While prosecutors moved swiftly to charge law enforcement officers performing immigration duties, they hesitate to act against left-wing protesters who assault journalists. Hernandez’s reporting documented anti-ICE activists disrupting federal operations in Minneapolis. The video evidence clearly shows planning and execution of an assault causing injury. Yet the perpetrators walk free while complaining about criticism on social media. The stark contrast raises questions about whether justice depends on which side of the political spectrum you occupy.

  1. If somebody comes up to me and deliberately blasts my ears with a megaphone or a whistle, they’re gonna get punched.

You ruin my ears, I break your face, and then kick in your ribs.

  2. Justice has definitely depended on which political side a person is on, especially since Obama. Dems dish out hate speech, violence, etc, but whine and cry foul when even a small percentage comes back to them. Moriarty should be stripped of her position.

  3. It’s been an assault on Conservatives since Obama, then Autopen doubled down. And now the Left can do whatever they wish, as the judiciary is blind to anything the Left does. Only Conservative are held accountable. It seems as is CW is going to be the answer.
