Two men associated with radical terrorist groups helped Congresswoman Rashida Tlaib in organizing campaign events for her 2018 and 2020 elections.
These men were members of extremist organizations involved in the 1996 killing of an American teenager.
Terrorists Raised Funds For Tlaib’s Congressional Campaigns
Rafeeq Jaber and Salah Sarsour held key positions in different nonprofits that were found liable for sponsoring terrorism. Both of them extensively campaigned for Rashida Tlaib, which helped her in winning her elections.
In 2004, a federal jury found a whole network of nonprofit organizations liable for the killing of an American teenager, David Boim, on the West Bank in 1996.
Reportedly three groups, namely the American Muslim Society, the Holy Land Foundation, and the Islamic Association for Palestine, remained involved in funding terrorist activities.
The federal jury ordered them to pay a hefty sum of $156 million to Boim’s parents for allegedly sponsoring an international terrorist entity, Hamas.

However, all of these organizations shut down their operations and never paid the money to Boim’s family.
Eventually, the US-based assets of the Holy Land Foundation were seized, while five of its leaders were convicted of various crimes and sentenced to several decades in jail.
In 2003, Rafeeq Jaber testified that he was the president of the Islamic Association of Palestine and the American Muslim Society, two groups that were convicted in the 2004 verdict.
Reportedly, Jaber was also part of the Hosting Committee for Tlaib’s 2018 congressional campaign.
Furthermore, Jaber also urged his followers to support Tlaib in her 2020 elections, noting that “white supremacists,” “radical right-wingers,” and pro-Israel AIPAC did not want to see her win the 2020 race.
Jaber also suggested that anyone who did not vote for Tlaib and Ilhan Omar in the 2020 elections helped anti-Palestinian elements in winning the elections.
On November 4, 2020, Jaber posted on his Facebook account that he was proud to vote in the elections.
Rafik Ayyash, one of his Facebook followers, commented on his post that he always prefers to miss his vote as all the politicians support Israel.
Responding to this comment, Rafeq established that missing a vote will stop pro-Palestine politicians from winning important races.

Hamas Sponsor Helped Tlaib in Winning her Elections
Another campaigner for Tlaib’s campaign, Salah Sarsour, also raised funds for the Holy Land Foundation and Islamic Association for Palestine and channeled the money towards a Hamas militant.
Salah’s brother, Jamil Sarsour, already acknowledged in front of the Israeli government that he sent money “several times” to a militant named Adel Awdallah on behalf of his brother.
Awdallah was killed in 1998 after Israeli forces launched an operation against him for his alleged involvement in a terrorist plot in Israel.
According to Jamil, he and Salah sent the checks of a Milwaukee-based bank to Hamas and avoided any personal checks so that the government could not trace them back.
Salah conducted a fundraiser for Tlaib in July 2018. Tlaib’s campaign paid for the event. He also gave heart reactions to three of his Facebook pictures with Tlaib at the same event.
