Trump’s Charges May Bite Back Biden as 45 Issues ‘Defund’ Call

This week’s arraignment of former President Trump may come back and bite the Democrats and President Joe Biden.

Trump called upon Republicans in Congress to “defund” the US Justice Department and the Federal Bureau of Investigation.

Defund Call Against the Left

Trump made his DOJ and FBI “defund” call in a post on Truth Social on Wednesday, a day after he pleaded not guilty to 34 charges of deliberately falsifying tax records before a court in New York City.

The indictment is technically over the claims that in 2016, the Trump campaign bribed porn star Stormy Daniels with $130,000 in “hush money” to shut her up about an alleged affair she had with the future president back in 2006.

Even anti-Trump legal scholars such as Alan Dershowitz and Jonathan Turley have stated that Bragg’s indictment lacks legal merit and amounts to political persecution.

The former president himself first blasted his arraignment in a speech that he gave at home in Mar-a-Lago, Florida, on Tuesday evening, after returning from NYC.

Weaponized by the Democrats

Trump continued his public defense on Wednesday with calls to the congressional GOP to slash the DOJ and FBI’s funding – and to do so “at least temporarily” – to give the feds the chance to “come to their senses.”

The FBI and DOJ aren’t technically involved in the woke Manhattan DA’s case against Trump, but they are conducting other investigations on him, namely, the J6 and classified documents probes.

In his defunding call, Trump apparently sought to emphasize the fact that lefties are weaponizing American law enforcement on all levels in order to go after Republicans and conservatives.

He charged that the Democrats “are viciously using” their “abuse of power” – and, by indicting him, they are doing so to interfere with the 2024 presidential election which is already “under siege.”

Leading GOP Congress members such as Jim Jordan (R-OH), Andy Biggs (R-AZ), and Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) have all spoken in recent months in favor of defunding agencies weaponized by the left.
