Bud Light has landed in extremely hot water after its decision to partner up with Dylan Mulvaney. Mulvaney is a biological male who identifies as a transgender woman, dresses up as a woman, and makes various online videos about his experience with “girlhood.”
It goes without saying that many customers of Bud Light didn’t want to see this on the beers they drink. This is why Bud Light is facing mass boycotts, along with an overall PR nightmare.
Now, the team of Florida Governor Ron DeSantis is weighing in on this issue, as reported by the Washington Times.
Bud Light Gets Dunked on
Team DeSantis put out an ad entitled Real Men of Women’s Sports.
This ad draws attention to the plight of biological men in women’s sports. Furthermore, it holds Bud Light’s feet to the fire for rolling out the red carpet for “mediocre men” who couldn’t make it on the teams of their own gender.
In Florida, girls play girls’ sports and boys play boys’ sports.

Real Men of Women’s Sport is also a dig against the Real Men of Genius ads that Bud Light previously ran in the late 90s and early 2000s.
In addition to this latest ad from Team DeSantis, there have also been other people coming out with beers of their own in protest against Bud Light.

In Florida, DeSantis and other state leaders have made it clear that sports players will have to participate on teams that match their biological gender. Having men in women’s sports is simply not fair to the women who worked hard to win opportunities.

In some of the worst cases, combative female sports could actually be dangerous to women if biological men are going up against them. Even when biological men consume hormones to present as female, they still retain male bone structure and other male features.
