It didn’t take long for people to catch on to how out of touch the latest series of Bud Light commercials was. The company decided to bring on trans “icon” Dylan Mulvaney to advertise their product.
Saying they’ve missed their target audience would be an understatement. The fact they’re surprised by the fallout the partnership caused is a testament to how much they know about their customers.
America is slowly falling apart
Among the many Republicans boycotting the beer was also country music icon and famous Nashville bar owner John Rich.
He made an appearance on Tucker Carlson Tonight earlier this week to discuss the issue, announcing that Redneck Riviera will no longer be serving Bud Light.
What beer should my bar @rnrbarnash in Nashville replace #BudLight with? @RedneckRiviera

Rich explained the decision was made because the customer is always right and he’s choosing to cut ties with Bud Light, despite it being their best-selling beer up until recently.
However, ever since the company brought on a trans person for advertising, it’s been sitting in the back without anyone wanting to buy it. Honestly, who can blame them?
The left is practically forcing the transgender ideology down everyone’s throats. It’s only a matter of time until people are sick of it. One could argue that taking something as iconic as Bud Light and assimilating it into the trans community was crossing the line.
John Rich Says Customers At His Bar Have Stopped Ordering Bud Light
“I own a bar in downtown Nashville called Redneck Riviera. Our number-one selling beer up until a few days ago was what? Bud Light. We got cases and cases and cases of it sitting back there. But in the past… pic.twitter.com/mBdk15OVsi

First Bud Light, what’s next?
As it turns out, Rich isn’t the only country musician that’d given up on Bud Light. Travis Tritt announced all Anheuser-Busch will be permanently removed from his tour because of the ad with Mulvaney.
He clarified he’s not afraid of being canceled and a number of other artists have done the same, albeit with no announcement.
There’s a lot to unpack here. The majority of it lies in the fact that such an iconic brand decided to go against the core values of its target audience; it did it in what was probably the worst way possible.
Dylan Mulvaney appeared today on a podcast and said this:
“I have tried to be the most uncontroversial person this past year, and somehow it has made me controversial still”.
Dylan is mocking you ladies! He knows he is controversial and he knows he is upsetting women!… pic.twitter.com/xvjpmCVu2c

Bud Light was about as American as beer could get. Now, they’re turning that into something sponsored by the trans community. From this perspective, the outcry is more than justified.
