Education in America has taken a hit in recent years. This is largely due to many schools moving away from genuine education and instead embracing political activism under the false guise of teaching.
DEI, critical race theory, and other toxic, politically charged ideologies are being fed to students of varying ages. Many parents across the country have been clear they don’t want their kids exposed to this type of material.
Then, there were the lockdowns and mask mandates that interfered with children’s ability to attend school and see the faces of those around them during their developmental years.
Yet, breaking information from the New York Post reveals that education in the United States still has a way to go.
Troubling Updates Out of New York
It’s recently come to light that the Elizabeth Ann Clune Montessori School of Ithaca is still implementing mandatory masking for students (even outdoors), along with forcing them to have their lunch breaks without speaking to one another.
For $18,000 The Elizabeth Ann Clune Montessori School of Ithaca New York still mandates that students wear masks outdoors.

This comes in spite of these measures having been tried before with ultimately no success. It’s unclear why this school is still sticking by these measures even after the COVID pandemic has officially been declared over by the White House.
Real Harm to Developing Children
While Elizabeth Ann Clune Montessori School of Ithaca is a private school, this doesn’t change the fact that what it’s doing is demonstrably harmful to kids. It hurts their ability to develop necessary social skills and read facial cues.

This is bad news since many children are already behind in their education and critical maturation, due to haphazard COVID mitigation measures seen in 2020 and 2021.
There’s no telling when this private school in New York will roll back these unscientific mandates. Though they are indisputably a national outrage that all Americans should frown upon.
